Pro-poor land distribution in Cambodia

The Royal Government of Cambodia is tackling land reform as one of its priorities. Despite Cambodia's wealth in agricultural land, fertile soils and availability of natural water resources, the agricultural sector is still developing. Further steps in land reform should focus on both enhancing productivity and including smallholders into agricultural value chains. Besides a state land border adjustment and regularisation approach, a particularly appealing avenue is smallholder partnership farming.
